Big Bro Nawan,

 

Glad to get your updated on the status of the sold off table for the Lg. Aip Fund rising Dinner 2/2/14. It considered good responds & turn up later. For the remaining table that still unsold, I suggest just keep it ready for last minute discount, let say one week before the dinner and get ready who is the lucky person to have this table later.

 

Few comments.

 

01. - To make sure proper sound systems with enough Microphone/Stand in our church all are in good condition & proper person in charge that must be ready earlier before kick off.

02. - All AJK Irau – mesti uli nyepangen huma (one week before) ja lim persiapan teratur tanpa last minute ujung-ujung jadi kelamkabut. Mungkin ada briefing for all AJK.

03. - If possible we must have Secutity@RELA or Parking in charge – ja si em sebareng lale’ kelita Parking, pelivet & tusah pehura’ pahayang ujung traffic jam. Must have proper parking space.

04. Put proper signage & Arrow TO LONG ATIP at every junction especially after Lg. Lama onward.

05. Identify how many banners need to be put all the way From Miri to Lg. Atip. Examples only – put one at Round about Telang Usan Hotel, simpang mamut, Ferry Lg. Lama. Few simpang in between Lg. Lama – Lg. Atip. Simpang Lg. Atip mesti full decoration.

 

Item 04 & 05 mesti en pasang, pah leve’ 1 bulan em payan. Sayu ilau AJK aleng puboh anih.

 

Awi aleng ek teng te ika dau arei dih, Nun “Tema Kebaktian Tahunan Irau” duman anih?. Ja kalo AJK publisiti jam pedengah na men itam dahin ja em hadau metai na alem fliers, Banners, Backdrop & etc.

Gudday mate!

 

Attended the Dinner OC meeting yesterday. Encouraging attendance. Here are some updates so that the AJK Publisiti can help to spread the news among us. The MoM is being prepared by the OC Secretary.

 

1.0  Out of 90 tables on sale, about 13 tables remain unsold to-date; precise breakdown according to price categories - request Johnny/Stamford to advise; AJK is determined to be able to sell every table between now and 19/01/2014, the date of the next meeting.

2.0  Dinner Program - draft program was prepared during the meeting. Johnny to email the copy of the draft program, please; Acara sambuatan Tetamu Kehormat being worked out with Peterus Wan & Disun Jok. They are also being tasked to organize Pagan Tawek, Sape and to assemble the dancers (both single & long dance)

3.0  AJK Kecil Majlis Makan Malam - various persons already assigned specific tasks/roles, eg protocol, souvenirs, buttonholes, MC, etccc;

4.0  Slide shows / montage sebagai selingan to enlighten guests, esp GOH & VVIPs on the history, background and also current needs of the church in slide/photographic forms - Cikgu Mavis to produce;

5.0  Discusses related issues  - Tuan Pengerusi AJK Pengelola strongly reminded the Pengerusi of every AJK Kecil to call for meetings and to start executing the works/tasks/action items under each AJK Kecil. We only have January - April to implement all that need to be done, and minus perhaps February - ngelunau. May is for individuals to finish off renovation/improvement works in your own amin/bilik.

6.0  Nawan - on behalf Biro Kemudahan Awam :

PETRONAS - new genset - have given MoM dd 16/11/2013 to Leslie Lah wherein JKKK has resolved to authorize Wan Jok @ Tmn Donny to source, supply & delivery the new diesel genset to LA with immediate effect;

Water supply - TK and Nawan had purchased the required parts (valves, sockets, pipes, adhesive/solvent) as per the list recommended by Richard Ibuh, based on a survey done on 21/12/2013 along the water pipe line & Sg Urang. Upgrading of water filtration plant shall be implemented soon - to purchase new filters and storage tanks plus accessories. TK Wilson also informed the meeting that the Company operating at our backyard will lay the new 3" polypipes beginning January 2014. This new line will boost our water pressure and flow.

7.0  Next AJK Dinner meeting :  Sunday - 19/01/2014 @ 3:00 pm at Telang Usan Hotel.
